Corona does not spread from frozen food: World Health Organization.

News of the presence of the virus in food has caused concern among the people.

New York: The World Health Organization (WHO) has ruled out the spread of corona virus through burnt food.  The WHO's explanation comes after reports emerged that corona virus was found in imported food items in two cities in China.

The presence of the corona virus was detected on the surface of frozen chicken wings brought to Shenzhen from Brazil and on samples collected from the outside of a packet of Ecuadorian shrimp.  With the spread of Kovid cases around the world, reports of the presence of the virus in the diet have raised concerns.  The World Health Organization's explanation is in this context.

Mike Ryan, head of the World Health Organization's emergency department, said people should not be afraid of food or frozen food.  The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Department of Agriculture announced this in a joint statement.
